Unhosted apps need not be stored on any central server, but can be spread anywhere and still maintain functionality. Data URIs are an effective way to encode web resources in a portable, offline-first, and authenticated manner which is also supported by all major browsers.
Every additional installation of this will be unhosted. New blog posts will be shared as data URIs and maybe link shortened versions of these URIs will also be available.
